IT’S WILD HOW WE RAISE OUR SALMON
Atlantic salmon from the world’s first closed-loop, land-based saltwater fishery. Nothing reaches the ocean. Everything reaches your table.
Pick your box. We handle the rest.
Cut into portions, vacuum sealed, and frozen at peak by our fishmongers. Delivered across HRM.
Ocean Wise recommended
Three zeros change everything.
Zero discharge
Sustainable Blue reuses 100% of its salt water. Waste solids leave the building as electricity, by way of a methane digester, not as effluent into the Bay of Fundy.
Zero antibiotics
A sealed system means no sea lice and no exposure to disease. The fish never need antibiotics or growth hormones, so they never get them.
Zero escapes
On land, farmed fish cannot escape or interbreed with wild Atlantic stocks. The wild salmon stay wild, and so do the coastlines.
The closed loop
Water goes around. Nothing goes out.
Most land-based farms still discharge some wastewater. Sustainable Blue’s recirculating system is the world’s first saltwater fishery to reuse all of it, continuously monitored, filtered, and returned to the tanks.
- Crystal-clear cold salt water, recycled on site
- Fish waste is converted to electricity, not dumped
- A diet rich in marine oils, so it eats like wild salmon

The payoff
Raised on land. Eats like the wild.
Dinner can be part of the fix.
Every box keeps effluent out of the Bay of Fundy and pressure off wild Atlantic salmon. It also happens to be a very good dinner.
