Large, firm, and versatile. These are the shrimp that work in everything: quick weeknight sautés, weekend grilling, tacos, stir-fries, pasta. Peeled and tail-on, IQF frozen so you pull exactly what you need. Thaw them in twenty minutes and they’re ready to cook. The flavour is clean and mild, which means they take on whatever you season them with and don’t fight back.

Thaw first

  • Thaw shrimp overnight in the refrigerator, or
  • Submerge sealed shrimp in cold water for 20–30 minutes
  • Pat dry before cooking

Sauté

  1. Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium-high heat
  2. Add shrimp in a single layer
  3. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque

Grill

  1. Toss shrimp with oil and seasoning
  2. Thread onto skewers
  3. Grill over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side

Sous Vide Shrimp Cocktail

  1. Set sous vide to 140°F (60°C).
  2. Peel/devein shrimp (tails on), pat dry, bag (optional: salt/lemon).
  3. Seal and cook 15 minutes.
  4. Ice bath 10–15 minutes until cold.
  5. Pat dry and chill until serving.

Helpful tip

Shrimp are done when they turn pink and curl into a loose “C”. Avoid overcooking for best texture.
