Cook from frozen

Air fryer (best results)

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (205°C).

  2. Place frozen bacon-wrapped scallops in a single layer. Do not overlap.

  3. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until bacon is crisp and scallops are opaque.

  4. Rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Oven (alternative)

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place frozen scallops on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning once, until bacon is cooked through.

Tips
• Do not thaw before cooking
• Bacon should be crisp; scallops should be tender, not rubbery
• Times may vary slightly by size and appliance

Why Bacon-Wrapped Scallops?

Same Nova Scotia and Newfoundland scallops as our plain sea scallops. Ocean Wise recommended, large 20/30 count, cold-water harvested for a naturally sweet, firm bite. The bacon wrapping isn’t just there for flavour. It insulates the scallop during cooking, which gives you a wider window to get the bacon crispy without overcooking the inside. It’s a forgiving preparation that produces a reliable result. Great seafood doesn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it just has to be good.
