Cooking Instructions
Coldwater Shrimp Serving Ideas
These sweet, tender Coldwater Shrimp require no cooking — just thaw if frozen, pat dry if needed, and enjoy! Perfect for fast, fresh meals.
- Shrimp Salad Sandwiches Mix the shrimp with mayonnaise, a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, chopped celery, a pinch of salt and pepper, and fresh dill or chives. Serve on soft bread or croissants with lettuce for a classic, refreshing sandwich.
- Cold Noodle Bowls Toss the shrimp into chilled cooked noodles (rice or soba work well) with a sesame dressing (soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and garlic). Add fresh herbs like cilantro, mint, and green onions, plus cucumber, carrot matchsticks, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for a light, flavour-packed bowl.
- Tossed into Fried Rice, Dumplings, or Chowder Add the shrimp at the very end of cooking to gently warm them through (no more than 1–2 minutes to avoid toughening). Stir into hot fried rice with veggies and egg, fold into dumpling fillings before steaming/boiling, or mix into creamy chowder just before serving for a boost of sweetness and texture.

Why Coldwater Shrimp?
Wild-caught off the coast of Atlantic Canada, these coldwater shrimp are harvested from some of the cleanest, most productive waters in the world. The cold water is what gives them their distinctive sweetness. It’s not a seasoning trick, it’s just where they’re from. Because they come pre-cooked, there’s no risk of overcooking and no prep work. They’re the most low-maintenance protein in your freezer, and they earn their place every time you need a quick, clean hit of seafood without turning on the stove.
