Welcome to Afishionado. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before purchasing.
2. Orders and payments
Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure checkout.
For one-time orders, payment is processed at the time of purchase.
For subscriptions, payment is processed automatically on the same day of the week as your original order, timed to align with your upcoming delivery. For example, if your original order was placed on a Tuesday for Thursday delivery, subsequent subscription payments will be processed on the Tuesday before each scheduled Thursday delivery.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically based on the plan you select (weekly, biweekly, or monthly).
You may modify, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through your customer account, provided changes are made before your next billing date. Changes submitted after your billing date will take effect on the following cycle.
By subscribing, you authorize Afishionado to process recurring payments until you cancel.
4. Delivery
We currently deliver to the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM).
Deliveries are made on Thursdays and Saturdays. Your delivery day will be confirmed at checkout based on availability.
It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive your order, or that a safe, accessible drop location is provided. Afishionado is not responsible for product quality if the order is left unattended for an extended period after delivery.
We will update this section as delivery areas expand.
5. Refunds and replacements
Because we sell perishable food products, we cannot accept returns once an order has shipped.
We will offer a replacement or full refund if:
- Your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incorrect
- The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery by contacting us at [email protected]
We do not provide refunds for:
- Change of mind after an order has shipped
- Incorrect delivery addresses provided by the customer
- Missed deliveries due to customer unavailability
6. Promotional and sale items
Items purchased at a discounted or promotional price are final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange, except in cases of damage or error as described in Section 5.
7. Limitation of liability
Afishionado is not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our control, including weather events, courier delays, or supply chain disruptions. In these situations, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with affected customers and arrange alternatives where possible.
8. Privacy
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
